Policies at The Swanky Pooch
This page includes important information about our
ordering,
payment,
shipping,
returns,
secret pals, and
wholesale policies. It also explains the Swanky Pooch Amazon Store.
Placing
an Order
The easiest way to place an order is to use the
shopping cart. Simply use the Add to Cart button when you find an
item you'd like to order. The shopping cart
will figure your shipping costs and any applicable
taxes. (Texas residents will pay sales tax at 8% unless a
valid tax ID number is provided.)
Once you've finished shopping, calculate your shipping costs by clicking
the Calculate Shipping button. Then, click the
Go to Payments button to complete your order.
Or, if you prefer, you can send us an email or call
us on the phone with your order information.
You can even make an order through regular postal
mail. However, if you do this, be sure to
contact us first to get the shipping amount for your
order. Payment for these orders are due within
10 days.
If you are an international customer, please
email us your order, and we will send you
shipping amounts and your order total.
After Your Order is Placed
After you
place your order, you will receive an order
confirmation, and if you paid with Paypal, a payment receipt
from PayPal. If you don't receive your order
confirmation within a
few hours, please
contact us to make sure your order was placed
successfully.
Once we
receive your order, we will send you an order
confirmation with an estimated shipping date.
Payment Methods
We accept:
- Mastercard
- Visa
- PayPal (which
securely accepts all major credit cards, balance transfers, and
electronic checks)
- Money Orders
- Personal Checks (All
personal checks must clear the bank before your order is shipped.
There is a $25 fee on all returned checks.)
- Cash
You will specify your payment method during
checkout.
International customers can pay with
PayPal or US
cash. No foreign currency is accepted.
We do not accept COD orders. All orders must
be paid in full before shipping.
Mailing Payments
To mail your payment, make your check or
money order payable to Dawn Taylor. Mail the
payment and a copy of your Order Confirmation to:

Shipping
We offer reasonable shipping charges and expert,
careful packaging. If you order more than one
item, we combine shipping to save you money.
Our shopping cart provides you with a shipping
amount for each order so there will be no surprises
at the end of your order.
Shipping Carrier
For all orders, we ship via the
United States Postal Service (USPS).
We are happy to ship your purchases internationally.
Insurance
For orders $50 and over, insurance is automatically
added to your shipping rate. Insurance is
optional for orders under $50. If you'd like
to add insurance to an order under $50, please
specify this in the Additional Information field in
the shopping cart. If you're paying with
PayPal, add the insurance cost during payment.

Shipping Time
Our natural dog treats are baked fresh when you
order, and we try to keep all of our other products
in stock. If you place an order for dog
treats, there is a three-day turn around time to
ensure you receive the freshest treats possible.
All other orders are typically shipped within two
business days.
Returns
At The Swanky Pooch, we
want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not completely
satisfied, you may return your purchase in its original condition within 15 days. Once you return the
product, we we will refund your purchase price; shipping is
non-refundable. All returns must be accompanied by your receipt.

contact us if you need to return your purchase.
Secret Pals
The Swanky Pooch is proud
to be secret-pal friendly. If you'd like to send a gift to a
secret pal, simply mention that your purchase is for your secret pal in
the Additional Information box in the shopping cart. Then, specify
your secret pal's shipping address in the Shipping Address section of
the cart. We'll take care of the rest! (Secret pal gift certificates are only available for items ordered directly from The Swanky Pooch, not for items in our Amazon store.)
Wholesale Orders
The Swanky Pooch is happy to fill wholesale orders
with the purpose of resale. See our

The Swanky Pooch Amazon Store
Here at The Swanky Pooch, we'd love to be able to personally offer you a huge variety of dog products. However, there's no way we can manage that kind of inventory, so we've done the next best thing - we've created The Swanky Pooch Amazon Store. At our Amazon store, you can buy many, many dog-related items. When you buy from our Amazon store, the product is shipped through a third-party vendor. You can see the company you're purchasing from on the item page. All payment, shipping, and returns are handled through Amazon rather than through The Swanky Pooch.
Items purchased at The Swanky Pooch Amazon Store are not eligible for special discounts or shipping promotions at the Swanky Pooch.
